I'm not sure if there is already a thread about this, but it would be nice to see everyone's winter photos.
This is one I took yesterday at the entrance to our small town.

Our trail into the cabin on Thanksgiving Day. A sad lack of snow for this time of year but what can you do?

Here are mine. I added a summer photo for everyone to see how very different the seasons are in our neck of the bush.

Wow! Quite the mountain backdrop.
That's Denali on the right. Tallest mountain in North America. On the left is Mt. Foraker. Both part of the Alaska Range.
They are a bit washed out in the photo as it was mid day. There are times when they are lit pink from low angle sunlight. Particularly this time of year.

Thank You! We are so happy with it so far. It has been just a dream for many years. We feel so lucky to have it. Being just a quick 50 miles down the interstate makes it close enough to enjoy most weekends.

We cut our Christmas tree at the cabin today.
200 mile, 5 hour trip in 6-12" of snow and negative temps... all in the name of tradition.
