Just getting light out when I saw 4 nice plump bear cubs run across the yard and shimmy up a tree.
I waited for the mom to show up (or not) before I went out with my camera.
To my surprise they were raccoon's, not bears.
They had to be a good 25 - 30 pounds. Cute little buggers.
Two of them bailed out before I could get a pic. One stayed there all day even in the pouring rain but I watched her slide down and run off just as soon as it got dark again.
Very fortunate to have seen and spend a little time with these nice healthy critters.
