Julie- if you are using an iPhone to take pictures, you must hold it with the button on the right. But you can also go into edit, and even if the photo appears upright, flip it upside down and back upright in edit, then when you download it it will come up right. At least it did for me.

We have four shovels so we don't have to fight over 'em.

Yes, I've heard that marriage is all about 'careful negotiation'.

Winter's been mild to date in these parts. No snow or anything to speak of...

Leaving the cabin after our first overnight... Light ice pellet shower in progress:

we had a little snow and wind event a few weeks ago. It blew up to 80 mph. Going outside was really hard to see, even inside a 6' fenced area and with my parka hood snorkeled up.

The door sill is about 9" off the floor. The pic was after I cleared some of the snow off, it was about 3 ft deep on my porch, and was the hard packed wind driven stuff, not fluffy snow. It bent my snow shovel, I had to use a regular dirt shovel to clear it off.

Winter isn't as much fun as it used to be. Az is sounding better all the time for winter, I think I want to be a snowbird.
