First snow of the season! Short intense squalls melting as fast as it falls. Anyone else encountering winter?

Shabin,
Are you at your cabin right now? Lucky you! My husband is at ours and I wonder if he is seeing any snow. Wish I was there...

Trollbridge,

Yes we are at the Shabin. Installing the wall heater and getting recommendations for an electrician. Currently in the trailer with the BigBuddy running

I just talked to my husband-no snow but he is driving up to Superior to Walmart right now-gonna hit the Red Box for a movie. He finished installing our wood floor in the living room and dining room and is physically worn out but mentally wired from all the Mountain Dew he said he drank today.LOL...said it is 29 degrees-brrrr! You will be so happy to get your wall heater installed in your cabin...I hope you can stay toasty tonight in the trailer!

It is unseasonably warm in Washington. We have had daytime highs well into the 70's and no precipitation. I think that Wisconsin and Montana are getting our autumn weather.

We had a mix of everything at the cabin (northern Michigan) this weekend. from Sun, rain, freezing rain, sleet, and Snow . It was 21 degrees when I woke up to go out and hunt Monday morning. Just a bit to cold for me.

We've got our first chance this weekend. I don't know how far down the mountain it will come, but it's possible.

Thanks cabingal.

We're headed up to the cabin this weekend with my parents and it looks like we'll be driving through a winter storm. High on Saturday predicted to be 14 F and low will be -3. 4-8" of snow expected. Here comes winter!! Wish us luck driving up there. Yikes!
