Too bad it will still get colder for a couple months before we get warmer again. I have several Canadian friends who head south for Jan thru March every year. If it wasn't for Christmas they might leave a month earlier though.

Love it- one of my favorite days of the year!

We’re such outdoor people that the darkness starts to get to me a bit. Winter is OK even in Minn if you can get outside and do stuff I don’t mind the cold part as much as the dark and the inability to be out of the house.

Yeah that!
The start of the last two weeks before solstice is my worst knowing it wont be that light again for a month.

Still dark out, how long this going to take?

Some talk about getting rid of daylight savings time. I'm for that, whichever way it goes. Too many clocks..

We should do metric time, 20 hours in a day vs 24, 10 AM and 10 PM. :D

Clock

...and... https://metric-time.com/

This idea does away with AM & PM, which I like anyways as I have thought in terms of a 24 hour (military) clock most of my life.

We didn’t have all these clock issues before digital clocks came along. Just move one rock.

Metric Time is interesting but sure would make my collection of timepieces worthless.....
