hello all.
'it's been great seeing all the critter cam shots. These images are from the Catskills in NY state. The images are from May 2016, and I included a white tail deer for scale. What the heck is the other animal? Thanks

Thanks Just.
Here are some more pictures from Feb-March of this year, perhaps the same animal.
I had once seen a fisher here, but this appears tailless. Could they survive without one?
And I have images of raccoon; even at night you can see their strips.
It could well be a gruffalo, although a friend insists it is a Capybara.

I bought a cottage near Muskoka in Ontario last year and had a trail camera at the back of the driveway (which is pretty much just a trail) for several months with zero wildlife. I decided to move it 30 yards back into the bush and was pleasantly surprised by the activity over the last 3 weeks. I've uploaded a few of the highlight.

Caught this mountain lion on a trail cam down in our woods a couple of months ago, just outside San Luis Obispo, CA.

I'm not really a picture guy... but if you enjoy a short video of animals caught on the game cams, here's what I saw in late June / early July...

Enjoy, Rich
