bugs Yep that is something. I have never lived through winter like this in Mt. We had maybe 2 inches of snow all winter but I keep telling myself that winter is still here. Great pictures you have there. I seen whittail one week ago still packing head gear. These picture I took are from last week.

I caught a couple Coyotes on my property within about 200 yards of my cabin.
Click the picture, it's a video.
This Bushnell camera gives mediocre images at night but pretty good ones during the day but is very consistent about capturing animals and people moving about. My other camera (Wild Game brand) gives much better pictures but just eats batteries like there's no tomorrow. When it works it catches very good images, night or day.

This a cool place to visit and see other peoples pics. I have five cams. out here in MN at my cabin prop. I have hundreds of deer and bear pics. I tried to set up a cam to see the beaver working. They came and went without any good ones , but I did get this cool one.

Yeah, that's all we have. And I do hunt. I've sat a few days a year in the same white pine for fifty years.

Youtube Video Link
Our bears are quite camera shy as a rule. This guy came by at 11:52 AM on June 19. The video previous to this one caught Karen and I walking by about 35 minutes earlier. I edited out much of the 45 seconds he spent with his head in the container drinking water. I also copied in a couple slow motion sgements along with a stop frame. He didn't stay long as he was gone by the time the programmed 2 minute delay between events ended. No cubs evident, so maybe a male bear.
This was maybe 500 feet from the cabin, down at the bottom of the south facing slope. We found what looked like his approach path down the slope. The pine needles on the ground showed a spot where something large slid a few feet, as well as a path as if something was shuffling along towards the salt block and water. He probably passed close by the cabin while we having our lunch.
