Water always running in my well

Jcotrel1 Member	# Posted: 30 May 2020 07:06am Reply I constantly hear running water in my well. Even when the pump is turned off at the breaker. I checked the neighbor's. His is quiet. Any thoughts on why this is?

Irrigation Guy Member	# Posted: 30 May 2020 07:50am Reply If your well is drilled into rock you probably hear water entering the bore from above the static water level from a crack in the rock, probably not an issue. If you have a cased well all the way down you have a hole in the casing where water is entering above the staticâ€™s level which is not good. This could cause sand or soil to enter your well.
