Cheap portable cabin fan. 24 volt dc garage sale computer? fan covered with gutter screen. Fine screen keeps kids fingers out, larger screen would allow more air movement. I soldered on a 120 volt plug as we use standard outlets with our 12 volt dc cabin. Fan moves a lot of air even at this lower voltage.
I’ve labeled this for 12 volts and will hide it from my kids until it arrives at 12 v cabin...
Not bad for $2.

Nice. I also use standard outlets for 12vdc at my cabin (there is no AC). Seems I read somewhere they are not ideal but it seems to work.

When I was on solar I used a couple of these 12v "mini box fans" screwed to the ceiling to push the warm air down and keep it circulating.
They helped more than I thought they would and drew very little power.
