i been looking for a small freezer when i build my cabin. iv looked at a large number of models, i found a electric mini fridge on amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G132X2F/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?psc=1#customerReviews) does anyone know how many solar panels or solar setup i would need to run this at -0 degrees F 24/7 year round?

ill be using solar to generate power for this mini freezer, two 6.5" coaxial car speakers, a small overhead, and once or twice a week ill use it to charge a jackery 240wh power station. also the items in the freezer will be wrapped in tinfoil to keep the temperature sustained and i will be keeping frozen jugs of water in it as well.

im planning on installing 400w, will that be enough? solar power isnt my forte so if someone could also tell me what i need to buy on top of the 400w panels to complete this part of the build that would be helpful. thanks evryone

Depends on where you are located - ambient temperatures and amount of sun over the course of the year. Different in Arizona vs. northern Manitoba. Read through some of the solar threads on this site and you can get a better idea of what you might need. Do a calculation on the watt-hours you think you need, then build your system to fit (and add 10-20% over what you think you will need). Minimum I would think would be some panels, solar charge controller, battery(ies), and inverter.

My parents tryed to run one of those on a sail boat. It turns out the wattage was at 120v and at 12v drew way over what they said.

Strongly suggest you consider an Engel cooler if you're going to go this route. True compressor based system (can't tell if the Amazon one you linked to is compressor, I think it's thermoelectric) and they have very detailed charts of energy use based on what temp you have the cooler set to and the ambient temp outside:

We run the MR040F on our sailboat as a freezer (4 gallon jugs in it at a time plus some frozen food) while two other gallon jugs are in our "icebox" which we use as a fridge... with only 130 watts of solar and 225ah of battery storage we're still good for about two days before we start to have to think about charging some other way:
