I made some jumpers to connect my meter to various stuff, in series and set the switch to 10 amp. I got the readings in the photos. I just have to multiply the volts times amps to get the wattage, right? Quite a spread on the LED lights, but the higher ones are brighter.

Yes, multiply Volts x Amps to get Watts. The other question is how are you converting the 12V to the 5V, that could be a drain also that needs to be considered.

Thanks guys. The 5v stuff is through an Anker 5 socket USB to 12v adapter. I put my meter before that and get a total reading, good idea.
