For the time being the car charging will be done using grid power from PSE which will give me time to work on plan A which is grid independent car charging.
Installation will run under a grand and will be a "temporary connection" which gives me the freedom to locate where I need the power not where PSE tells me I can.
The electrician is an interesting fellow and even owns a Baker electric car and once you get through the frumpy exterior you find a wealth of experience he may be willing to share.
