I just purchased an 80W solar panel, and they threw-in a small 3.3 solar cell as a bonus.

Any application ideas out there? I'm not sure what to do with it.

Thanks! Skip.

Perhaps it could be used to recharge small batteries that in turn could be used to power flashlights or radios. I have a small panel that was once part of a solar light and had places for 4 AA batteries that I use for many things.

I think that is the correct voltage to recharge 4 1.2v batteries in series. Harbor Freight has a charger that when set on 9v is meant to charge 4 1.2v batteries.
