Really interested in this thread. Not much to contribute other than I'm in the same boat along with two of my brother in laws. All about to go solar at our cabins and all seriously trying to 'make it' to full time cabin. Cheers.

I would start with about 200 watts of panels. Two 6 volt batteries bridged and a mppt charge controller.
