They are designed for developing countries, are waterproof, and pretty cheap (less than $10). I can think of a few spots they'd fit in around my little dream cabin.

I love solar lighting.. these are pretty neat.. tho I see prices of $15 and $20 .... still cheap for a bright light..

I have a bunch of Solar Garden lights around my property, and I am going to mount some more to the stakes I have on the property corners and lines way out in the back.. it'll be neat to be able to see them lit up at night.. Walmart had them on clearance for $1.50 each!! think I have 20 or so now. :)

a couple yrs ago I picked up some solar powered Christmas lights, (after xmas sales for 50% off) they have asmall panel with 2 AA batteries and then a 50 light string of lights plugs into the panels.. I've used the for the last few summers when we were camping.. now I have them strung in the trails.. nice to not have to have extension cords all through the woods.. :P
