Small Cabin Forum / Off-Grid Living / Has anyone switched from a 15 amp battery charger to 25?

rugercpl Member	# Posted: 4 Dec 2015 07:13pm Reply  Just curious to hear if it saved you any time having to run a generator to recharge your battery bank. I have a Schumacher 15amp looking to try a Stanley BC2509 25 amp. Currently just using (3) 100ah batteries. When I'm discharged to around 60% it takes 10-12 hours to get back up above 95%. That's about $6 or so in propane running to my eu2000i.
