Hey Gents;

Been around for a while, reading learning and building.

I have been running an off-grid solar system for two years at our cottage, currently running a 12v system with 4x100 watt panels a 30amp CC and 1500w PS Inverter.

We are utilizing the 12v power for lights and pumps, this is why I have no moved up to 24v system. As a much larger system may go in, in the future for the cabin (once complete) I don't want to spend much more time and money on the current system.

In order to get us by, I was hoping to add a couple more batteries to the system, I currently have a 2x2 bank with 6v 245Ah batteries.

How would I determine the amount of watts i would need to generate to match the battery bank?

Thanks;

Chris
