I am curious to solar panels and if the day is cloudy or disfused light-if this matters?
we want to use solar panels but in the winter even if we get the snow off the panels-will we still be able to get energy from the cloudy day?

Small(er) amounts of power on cloudy days..

This is when MPPT charge controllers and panels connected in series have advantages over non-MPPT controllers and panels in parallel.
