If I have an output power of 12 to 14 volts at 2.5 amps, can this be run through a power inverter to convert to 110 power or is the amperage too low?
Don't need more guesswork I can do that....anyone?

Output is from what?
2.5 amps at 12 VDC does not translate to much AC power at all.
12 VDC x 2.5 amps = 25 watts
25 watts at 120 VAC = 0.20 amp.
Almost nothing useful
That is not accounting for inverter inefficiency
The inverter electronics could consume that much power sitting there doing nothing. (maybe a slight exaggeration)

Pretty much what I had figured but wasn't sure.
Ok, now onto plan B.
Thanks Don
