I'm looking for any advice on where to find a small 8000-15000BTU wall lp heater that can be vented.

This. You can also get an optional blower for it. I actually purchased my 8000 BTU from Menards or Northern Tool (I forget now, it's been a year or so). Even without the blower it heats up the 12x16 no problem.

northern tool has the US Stove Direct Vented 8,000 BTU LP Gas Heater on sale for 360.
most folks seem to use 18k btu heaters. not sure how the 8k heater would do in a cold winter...

Somewhere here there is an old thread or two discussing both on and off-grid wall mounted vented propane heaters with recommendations, but I cannot seem to find it! Maybe someone else can do better?

This is what we did for our 640 sq ft as a back up to the fireplace which will be the primary heat source. It does a great job.
Propane Wall Heater
Non-vented, though.

I have a couple of the 7500BTU Housewarmer heaters that Northern Tool sells (I got them cheaper on ebay, though). Each one is sufficient for a bedroom in my New England house. I wouldn't have a non vented propane heater in my house or cabin.

I have a 300 sq ft cabin with a loft and use a 8,000 BTU Propane heater for the winter months and it works fine
