We have a water table of like 550 feet in SW Texas. I am told that is the average depth.
There are a few windmills out there but I was told this weekend that there is no way a windmill could bring water up that high, so they have to be shallow wells.
Is this true?
I seriously doubt those people found water under 100 feet deep.

You can go to a thousand feet or more. check this link. It depends on the windmill diameter, the diameter of the pump cylinder...... this one too
