What a joke these Sun Mar and other ones are. Two thousand dollars for a fancy version of what a 5 gallon pail in a box with a pail of peat beside it does? I'd rather be a bear and xxxx in the woods. What a ripoff

Why a 5 gallon pail that you need to empty? Why not use an outhouse like the did back in the day?
It's a personal preference thing. It's also about local health codes if you need to care about them....the sunmar is on a list somewhere....your orange homer bucket is not.
I agree that the sunmar stuff is overpriced for what it is.
