Just visited recently, great site! Can anyone out there tell me definitively if a solar panel does or does not contain a computer chip inside of it? Your help would be greatly appreciated and feel free to contact me directly via e-mail. Thanks much!

No chip in them, but they are made from the same basic material.

Worried about EMP? Solar panels can be very basic with little more than a current blocking diode...but some of the related equipment will certainly be chipped (inverters, charge controllers etc.)
