Hello to all,

I'm going to put a sand pt in at our cabin next weekend for showering purposes only. Does anyone have any recommendations on what size pump I will need and will I need a pressure tank. My water table is approx 14 feet at the lowest. I plan on using a 1 1/4" pipe for my sandpoint. I may hook up a toilet if the pressure is good. Also, I run my cabin off my Honda EU2000 generator. Will I have issues with running a pump off the generator of that size?

Thanks for the input.

a 1\4 hp piston pump with a 10 galon bladder tank would work the best, but $$$ .a 1\4 hp jet pump will work also but do not let it run out of water for more than 5 min.or it will be fryed ,a restrictor may be needed .A singal line system will work for both . put a cheque velve somewere in the the suckshon line.

Looks like you need to get the specs off the pump you plan to use first and also read your Honda manual, it is very clear on its capabilities.
