Hello, I'm thinking of putting a schrader wood stove in my 12x24 cabin. I found this stove very cheap and am wondering if its too big or not. Cabin will insulated well with tongue and groove walls and ceilings.

My cook stove will keep my 12x20 cabin in the 90's if I don't crack open a window and door.I hate to do it but ...to hoooot!Even with just placeing one log on the fire at a time.

F wood is plentiful and free and you have windows that open -- buy a large stove if the price right -- remember though the real cost in a woodstove is the piping. If you search "yurbin" on this site you can see the stove I use for my 10x20.
