Just got the new Menard's sale flier and they have a 2000 lumin solar powered light (looks sim to a long'ish tube flourescent) c/w panel and long cord; about $20 US.
Looks like it could be handy for folks that dont have space or inclination for a whole solar system.

You should get some kickback from menards as I was looking for something like this as you posted it. Only used it a couple times and so far it has been perfect for an hour or two of light. Thanks for putting it out here

I didnt get one as Im heavy on lights of many flavors but it got my attention; glad it is working out for you!
Sure would have been easier than using up my old component 'solar beginners kit' in my toolshed.

Old school! Love the Coleman lantern night light. Pump it up, and it last for a long time.
I know it isn’t solar. But does do the energizer bunny thingy.
