Small Cabin Forum / Off-Grid Living / grey water ?

swanugly Member	# Posted: 23 Aug 2008 10:53am Reply  i am gonna dig pit to dump our grey water . i am thinking of a big hole filled with gravel and rocks it will be away from lake , outhouse , cabin , and were we hope to have a well someday. we are only there part time and have no plumbing in the cabin . any suggestions , any problems with critters or bugs ?
Vince P Member	# Posted: 23 Aug 2008 09:15pm Reply  A big hole filled with gravel and capped with some cement blocks is what I do... also known as a grease trap.
