Well we finally have... maybe some snow in the forecast s9 before it got nasty my neighbor came up and helped me put the tracks on the Geo Tracker for winter.
Finished mounting the "steps" up the roof to the chimney. Hated putting so many screws in the roof but safety demanded it. Used metal stitch screws and put lots of silicone on each screw. The steps should be helpful in getting up there to mount the Starlink dish if we ever get it.
Getting a good start on building skis for our water hauling trailer. Made a small 55 gallon hauler on old snowmobile skis last year but hoping to be able to pull our trailer with the 125 gallon tank. Using 2 tandem axle trailer fenders turned upside down, then building angle iron framework to hold the tires in place with the assistance of load straps to tighten them in down. I'll do another thread on that build as it progresses... might be handy for others. Tracker on tracks

Winter over ran me on prepping for winter. We got 18" of snow here in Anchorage and it is currently -10*F. I still need to get the studded snow tires on my F-350. Last weekend I headed to the cabin on my summer tires, which I thought would do OK in the snow.
Nope.
Sadly, the cabin did not get much snow and I'm still going in and out with the ATV. It don't like subzero temperatures and is a pain to get started and going in the cold. I'm hoping for more snow soon up north and can switch to the snowmachines. They like the cold and start with a push of a button.

That tracked Tracker is awesome! Are there more details on a thread somewhere here? Wondering if you adapted ATV track setup, or if this is a Tracker-specific conversion.

Rpe.... there is a company in Spokane WA that does a kit. Comes with spacers and adapters and the hardware to connect the anti-rotation arms. The back anti-rotation mount is a weld on, the front just requires 3 longer bolts to the ball joints. Plus, of course the Camso tracks.. Not cheap but sweet!
HERE is a link to the company.
