I'm using a toggle switch to turn on my wall heater, which uses the .75v power generated by the heater. I tried a thermostat but it was unreliable, plus I don't want it running while sleeping or gone. I like the manual switch.
The heater has accommodations for an internal fan, so I put in a 5v fan, on a second switch that has an LED letting me know it's on. 2nd winter with this setup, works great.
Wondering if I could use this relay, connected to the 5v switch, to also switch on the heater. So that when the heater is on the fan is also always going and the light lets me know both are going.

You could use a relay, but why bother? Just get a double pole (DPST) switch, one pole for the heater, the other for the fan.
Where are you getting the 5V from?

Man, glad you're on my payroll.
I have a multiport lighted USB switch panel powering a few things including the fan.
I would need to find a DPST switch with a 5v LED. I'll look around.
With a relay mounted at the heater I would only need one wire pair running the 20' to the switch, but I already have the second pair now..

You could use a relay too if wiring is an issue. Also instead of a lighted switch, you could add small separate LED indicator light.
