Building a log playhouse for grandkids as practice for a log guest house later.
Questions are related to beginning:
Size of playhouse is 8x10 with a loft.
Square logs (6x6). Using half dovetail notch corners.
What would you recommend for a Good/adequate foundation?
First/sill logs - please explain how this is done.
Thank you in advance for your advice

8x10 I would just build on skids on concrete blocks. I'm sure you will want to move/remove or sell it later.
As for a guest house that depends on your location, codes and many other factors.
