I borrowed a gas hole digger to build a fence. Dug a couple of holes but it wasn't really cutting it. Wondering what I can do sharpen this, or do I need to replace the bolt on blade?

A new tip may only cost you $25 to $35.
The blades can be sharpened multiple times.

If that’s the case it may be cheaper to just go rent an auger.

Upon closer inspection I realized the removable blade had been worn such that the trailing edge was lower than the leading (sharpened) edge. By grinding back the trailing edge and sharpening I was able to bore my next hole easily. Only about 6 more to go..
Thanks for the replies.
