Hi everyone,
I'd like to put a little cabin (just a few hundred square feet) on a boat access only property. But...I don't actually want to build it. Any thoughts? Cabin kits seem to still require a lot of work and time to assemble, are there any that are mostly prebuilt?
Also, does anyone know what this is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yTI2h6NYFk or has anyone seen a real one anywhere?
Thanks!

There are sellers of pre-built sheds/barns/cabins that also will deliver to your lot. Here is a link to one near me http://hillsidestructures.net/gallery No assembly.
Water access only and don't want to build it may not work out. Maybe a helicopter could air-lift in.

Maybe contract someone to build it for you.

How about a yurt, or a wall tent, or even a military canvas tent?

Some builders will bring the materials across in a barge. Other will build it in the winter and drive across the ice (if you live in an area where the lakes freeze solid.)

Thanks for all the interesting ideas... I am looking for something simple - I was thinking something that could just be brought to the site for me (thanks for your suggestion DaveBell) which is why I was wondering if anyone knew about that structure that I saw on youtube. I can barge a truck in to bring whatever I end up choosing. But I will look into yurts and tents - thanks Dsmith. I have been in a yurt and it was pretty neat. Please let me know if you come up with any other ideas. Thanks again!
