Does anyone have some pointers for chinking a log cabin? Logs have been up for about 6 years now with a spray foam as a temporary chinking method. I plan to trim the foam, leave some in place for a backer rod and then apply Sashco 'perma-chink' after washing and treating with a penetrating insecticide/wood preservative. I may apply a stain when complete. Here is how things look pre-chinking...
