Going to use it to pump from lake to a holding tank then use a 12 volt pump from there. Total rise is max 40' and length is maybe 80'. I found this on amazon.ca Hallmark Industries Hallmark Industries MA0343X-4 Deep Well Submersible Pump, 1/2 hp, 110V, 60 Hz, 25 GPM, 150' Head, Stainless Steel, 4" No reviews there but several positive reviews on amazon.com. The price is great($170 CAN) with free shipping. Has anyone used this pump before?

Islandlife Member	# Posted: 14 Aug 2017 05:55pm Reply Yes it is a well pump however there are instructions in the manual to use it in a lake. We had a gas water pump at our last place. It worked well but got to be a pain to carry to the water, get started, prime and then carry back each time. I was hoping this would run off my Honda 2000 generator and would only need to plug in when our holding tank needs a refill. Thanks for this option. I will take a look.
