Man it feels great to take a shower, wash dishes etc. Makes staying there 100 times more enjoyable. I ended up setting up 2 55 gallon rain barrels. They're black to avoid growth of anything as they sit. I have a 25 gallon cistern inside that I transfer water to (kind of a pain but worth it). Then I use a Surflo on demand pump to run the kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower (it's a bit loud but no big deal). I have a 16 gallon electric hot water tank. Pressure is great. I need a lower flow shower head as I'm using about 5-7 gallons per shower. Cistern.JPG

If you haven't got a low flow shower head yet I can recommend the Niagara Earth Massage 1.25 gpm head. Amazon sells for $8. I ordered mine from Home Depot and picked it up at the store for the same price. I love my showers and it works great with my Shurflo pump.

I highly recommend the High Sierra showerheads.

They are a little spendy, but worth every penny. Best low flow (1.5 gpm) shower head that I have tried. Have one for the cabin, but liked it so much I have one in your city home, too.
