Do you bother to caulk the gaps and seams in the OSB sheathing before installing the house wrap?

Some folks do, some don't, generally contractors don't from what I have seen. I just taped over my H clips and seams with the Red Tuck Tape then applied my Tyvek. That 1/8th will disappear when it's damp out, so if you want to caulk it, use something like Butyl or Quad which will remain flexible and move a bit with the OSB.

I think it's best to let the building have some ability to breath- if you tighten it up too much, moisture can't escape, and ends up condensing in the walls leading to mold.

Never seen a manufacturers info that said to caulk. I would not. But be sure to space as spec'd.
