Ditchmonkey Member	# Posted: 9 Mar 2016 03:25pm Reply Hello, As part of my treehouse project, I am going to build a separate deck that is elevated around 8 feet off the ground. It will lead to the treehouse, but not be attached (so that sway in the trees wont damage the deck). I imagine it will be something like 10x10 or 12x12. Since this is a tall, freestanding deck, I was thinking that 6x6 posts would be best. Any opinions on this?
