Hi All.
I'm interested in doing 1/4 round log siding on a conventional build. Have any of you done this? pro's and con's? and what mistakes did you do, or do different? Thanks. Art

Manufactured or homemade? Dimensions and edge joints if any?
The natural tendency is for the flat back to dry convex and not sit on the wall well. I would take a pass or two down the middle of the back with a power planer to let it sit on the wall better. We also screwed it on from the backside wherever possible, it is more secure on the thicker siding and the fasteners are hidden.
