Has anyone built a cabin on a trailer frame, like a park model? I'm kicking this around picking a house trailer frame and build a cabin on it.

seen a post or 2 talking about similar projects. sounds like a plan. We have not started our cabin as of yet, but may also consider building on a trailer as an alternate ,, Would make it portable, AND best part can work on it at home, then take to the mountains. Good luck you should find some good info on this forum.

Most of the tiny homes here are on wheels. The build prices they show are quite high because most of these are finished at a very high level. You should be able to get some pretty good ideas from the plans.
Your cabin may come out heavier than the original trailer so be careful not to overbuild and overload the trailer.

Hey upnorth I just came here for ideas on how to build a 8x10 cabin for my dually diesel . Wife can not climb into camper bunk anymore. Our thoughts must be the same as to safety , weight , and vibration proof. Cost is what it is for quality , labour is us eh :>). We camp all year so cabin will be on all times even at -37c. Do hope some good souls can help us with ideas .
