my advice is to skip fancy parts companies. if you really want under bed storage have a bed custom made and slightly higher than usual. I built one myself in the past out of 2x4s pine boards and oak luann (1/4 inch plywood). made a taller than usual bed frame, put a mattress on top. sliding doors along the side that I could slide bushel baskets and bucket under with. was only a single person bed but I could store 18 buckets under it (full of dry beans, wheat, rice, etc).

Bed risers? The go-to solution for many a kid's room or college dorm. Couple of bucks at Walmart. Plus plastic storage bins to keep things safe from pests.

Bed risers definitely sounds cool. Sometimes the most effective solution is the most simplest one. Learned it the hard way.

i knew i would need storage room at the time of building so i made these bunk beds at 16.5" off the floor. i can now use a common plactic storage bin for all of my needs. the extra bedding, seasonal clothes and anything else fit under them. those beds are twins and the other side, which you cant see, is a double bunk with storage space. 0927091502.jpg
