My block is laid and I'm wondering what to use to protect against termites and how to treat. I've read a little and I think Termador (sp?) is the best available and I should treat the ground around the foundation with it. When I have my old house treated they drilled into the block and sprayed or poured it in there. What's the best way to go about this?

It is not that expensive to have it done by the pros. If you are in a termite prone area, get it done and that does not mean you will never get them, but it will help.

Different species of termites have different life cycles and habits, and require different strategies to eliminate or limit. Like KSalzwedl said, your local exterminator is the way to go, cause they will know how to deal with the type/types of termites you have where you are. Glad I'm above the snow line, cause that kills them where I am.
