Not sure if right area or not, but I bought this cast iron and porcelain stove last night planning on using it in my off the grid place... Here is photo of it... Tag inside says made by "the Moore corporation" out f Joliet, IL... Can someone point me to info on it... I have searched 2 days and found no real leads...
If anyone has any help or ideas... Please let me know...

I have an older one like, that mine is a Detroit Jewel, it has 5 orifices one for the oven and one for each burner. Ours also has a pilot light so I decided to install a shutoff valve so the pilot wasn't always burning.

Propane requires different jets on any appliance than the natural gas jets. Wasn't sure from what you said whether you know that-- Anyway I wonder if you need to get those from the original manufacturer, or if a stove repair person could supply them

Most propane suppliers can convert the stove for you. Call around. I located a local place to purchase a propane tank and have the jets changed, they can also do a leak check.

Sometimes the older stove had jets that were adjustable for propane and natural gas. If adjustable there is usually a little screw on each jet that you can turn to adjust flames. Hope yours is like that!
