I recently spent a lot of time looking at the hybreds of conventional design which include Gambrel roofs and A-frames and it occurs to me that the Gambrell really should be the best for smaller structures but not as a roof. We have seen the commercial sheds sold by Home Depot and many have Gambrel or Barn roofs but why not tilt the walls as well thereby giving some AFrame benefit. take a look at attached pics. Granted the structure does not have loft space but for what could be made from 2x4 and plywood, I think it would have to be pretty cheap and easy. As I have read, if you do the "SaveLink As" you should be able to see the full size images _DUNSTER_CABIN.jpg
