Steve,
This is exatly what I was looking for. I have a metal roof on my cabin and the flue goes right through the peak of the roof. Like an idiot, I didn't give any thought on how I was going to "Flash it". Now, it's all I can think about because I'm stumped. You're picture didnt make it clear how you accomidated the roof pitch and if the flashing had to be special made to fit your roof pitch. Could you ( or anyone else ) tell me how to solve this flashing dilema?

It's actually very simple. I cut a hole through the metal ridge cap and metal roof just large enough for my chimney to pass through. I then installed a standard storm collar with high temperature red silicone sealant according to the manufacturers directions. I've had it installed for close to 3 years now and haven't seen any precipitation make it into my attic.
