I have an issue with access....
Recap- I have 16 acre and I had a guy clear a 1200ft road in - about 3 months a go (didn't put item down - cost). I ordered a 12x12' shed to be delivered in 3 weeks.
I went there today and there is no way they can pull that shed in. This guy offered to put the shed on a big trailer and pull it in with a dozer... a one shot deal and for about 500-750$. Then I think I can manage with an ATV in and out of there.
Putting down item (cheapest crushed stone) will run me about 10k in my neck of the woods (got a few bids already) and might not even be so good...
Any other ideas for the road?

I build sheds in remote locations all the time. I can build a 12 x 12 in one day. All the lumber could be hauled by fourwheeler. I always think hauling a shed is too much work. It's as much as building it.

I wish a 4wheeler could get in. They guy who delivered stone today - has those f350 ones and he went in and nearly got stuck 10 ft in.... the road is 1200 ft long

try crushed asphalt you can usually get that on the cheap. try contacting your local road construction company's and see if they can get you a lead. plus with that stuff weeds and grass won't grow up through the roadway.

wow...I just got a quote for $180 bucks for a 15 ton load of base gravel delivered and spread for our new 500 ft drive.
It will take 4 or 5 loads but still under 1k for the entire deal.
10k.....jeepers.

I live in Northern , MN, But someone in your area would love to have the work. Does it freeze in winter? That would work well.
