I'm wondering if someone can give me advise on what size/length framing nail to use for 2x4 wall framing? I'll be using an air nailer and don't want to buy 1000's of many different sized nails. TIA

A handy resource for nails sizing is in the IRC TABLE R602.3(1) FASTENER SCHEDULE FOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
Scroll down a little to the tables. There is information for sheathing fasteners too. Note it's not simply the length that is important but the diameter. Many nail guns use nails that are thinner than those listed. Thinner nails will not have the same shear strength, so more of the thinner nails should be used.
