I really like the look of tin roof interior ceilings but my kids will be in the lofts a lot and im afraid of scratches and cuts on the tin roof material seams...
are there any other safer versions of the material one could use for the same look and ease of installation ??

well i finally found out what to call it and then googled it with plastic in the title. I did find some interesting materials. Like the PVC version
now i have to find a local store than can order and deliver it if they can make it thick enough to work on a ceiling

i used tin in my bedroom( just like the one you showed in the 1st pic) ===there is a another level above mine--- a half loft guest bedroom. with floors so no problem there. I really like the way it looks---

i would attach it to the underside of the ceiling joists--- also--after it screwed down with the seams overlap the ceciling would be fine--
