I am using rough-cut green (mostly) wood from our local sawmill. Some of it is white or honey colored but some of the older wood is discolored. Can I bleach or whiten the discolored wood? How do I keep the wood white or honey colored as the cabin ages? Can you preserve rough-cut?

You can attempt bleaching it, but have you thought about trying to replace the discolored pieces? You will need to make sure that you finish this and use quality products. This will preserve the rough cut the best you can.
