Good deal if you can use them, but I wouldn't change my cabin design just for that. 24' is a good length for a garage though.

If you need a building permit, make sure you get all the required engineering documentation.

I haven't started my build yet. In trying to read all the post on building, this seemed like a good deal.

Erin, if you have a 24 foot span, I'd get them. How many is there. Usually, you need one every 2 feet, end trusses are different. Center can vary if it was for a vauled ceiling, loft etc. Do you have a place to store them? This is a smoking deal. But like the other member said, get the paperwork for it too, incorporate it into your design.
