I am looking to add stairs to my loft and I ran across a picture of your loft stairs on Pinterest which brought me here. I apologize because I’m sure this topic has already been discussed but I couldn’t find a way to search posts. Did you use any plans to build your stairs? Use a kit? Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. null

We didn’t really have room for stairs, I don’t use the loft much (my wife's in wheelchair) so I use half an old ladder. It has ropes at the bottom that attach to that cabinet so it only swings out until the steps are horizontal, like it was originally. Not in use it’s up against the cabinet out of the way. Stained to match, not the ugliest thing.
